Joseph Dain is a Senior Technical Staff Member and Master Inventor in the IBM Systems Storage organization in Tucson, Arizona. He joined IBM in 2003 with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and has over 100 patents issued and pending worldwide.

In his current role he collaborates with IBM Research to build next generation artificial intelligence pipelines that are leveraged in a variety of use cases such as detecting cancer in tissue biopsies, assisting fire fighters in combating wildfires, and building next generation cybersecurity applications.
