Kyle has over 20 years of experience in compute, storage and networking. His career includes engineering and leadership at White Sands Missile Range, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Data Direct Networks. Kyle has enjoyed many roles over his career including management, systems administration, network administration, and storage administration. Kyle is currently focused on HPC storage to include high performance flash storage, parallel file systems, long term storage, and archive. Kyles's professional interests are focused on data storage and data management.

Kyle lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, together with his wife, and two daughters. He enjoys hiking, woodworking, and home renovations/building
