Nick Balthaser has been an HPSS Team member with the NERSC Storage Systems Group since 2007. He is responsible for application, hardware, and client administration & deployment for the NERSC data archive.

The NERSC Storage Systems Group is responsible for management, maintenance and future planning and development of NERSC's production storageinfrastructure. Their responsibilities include coordinated planning and delivery of bandwidth, capacity and service levels across multiple tiers of storage technology.
